Senior Business Analyst – Front Office Technology recruitment
We are looking for a Senior BA to join the Sales IT area. The team are the key point of contact for the Global Banking and Markets Sales and Finance businesses and are responsible for requirement gathering, specification documentation, data analysis, MI Dashboard Reporting and Project Management of IT deliverables.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Communicating with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions in conjunction with project management
- Maintaining full and up-to-date understanding of the business strategy, current practices and system capabilities
- Representing the business, advise and educate the supplier of the business needs, and provide business input to the technology questions
- Identifying new opportunities and promote activities where customer satisfaction can be improved
- Understanding the business issues and data challenges within the clients organisation and industry
- Managing multiple change programmes across assets classes/services
- Managing activities within project delivery to the business within the agreed timeframes, cost and levels of quality and clarify the further involvement of the BAs in the project
Candidates will be excellent communicators with a good overall understanding of investment banking practices and trading systems. You will have knowledge of primary trading system interfaces, front office business processes and experience working with BI/Data warehousing developers. Any previous experience working with SQL , Data Warehouse solutions, MI Dashboards and Qlikview would be highly beneficial.
