Senior Business Analyst – FX / ALM Operations recruitment

Key Responsibilities

• Work with key SMEs and bring industry knowledge and experience in the creation of a target operating model for FX and ALM Operations

• Lead the requirement gathering effort and ensure all requirements are documented clearly in the form of business requirement documents and ensure that the documents are agreed with senior project stakeholders

• Participate closely and support detailed process mapping activities for both current and future state maps using industry tools

• Validate and ensure that the requirements documents are closely aligned with the target operating model

• Lead and ensure proper translation of business requirement documents in to functional specification documents

• Ensure and record approvals received from users on the business requirements

• Effectively communicate project expectations to stakeholders around the bank and work closely on implementations

• Mentor and lead resources through the end to end process of implementation-testing, user training, migration from current process and system into the target operating model across every rollout

• Clearly document and record user acceptance sign offs

• Highlight potential risks that may arise impacting the scope, time and cost of the project on a real time basis to project managers and stakeholders as appropriate

• Liaise and maintain cordial working relationship with the project peer group on an ongoing basis

Key Requirements

• Industry experience of 7-10+ years with experience in large scale transformation programs and international experience in the investment banking space

• Strong understanding of Financial Markets products, specifically around front to back FX, ALM and treasury products and processes is essential

• Working Knowledge on MS Office suite of products

• Resilient, Enthusiastic Result Oriented; a change driver who challenges the status quo in a creative manner

• Adept at handling multiple tasks at once and within an extremely deadline-driven environment

• Ability to work within a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment 

• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, both oral and written

• Strong track record of delivering projects which are multifaceted

• Ability to demonstrate the Bank’s values in achieving objectives
