Senior Business Analyst Job in Davos (Ch)
The AO Foundation is a medically-guided; not-for-profit knowledge organization led by an international group of surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Founded in 1958 by 13 visionary surgeons, the AO today fosters one of the most extensive network of more than 10,000 surgeons, operating-room personnel, and scientists in more than 100 countries.
We are looking for a qualified
You are responsible for the development and maintenance of our new IT platform's architectural integrity within the AO Foundation's most challenging project, focussing on the development of a sophisticated web based platform for knowledge management, education, networking and collaboration. These are your main tasks:
- Layout, document and maintain operational processes and organizational structures
- Develop practical solutions for business requirements in line with our new IT platform's base architecture
- Further develop and maintain the business information architecture
- Grouping of business functionality into reusable components and applications; evaluate process and workflow automation
- Act as a corner stone between business and IT, ensuring effective coordination, understanding and communication
- Consult business managers across divisions for organization-wide process optimization
- Evaluate the impact of all changes and new developments on business operations and technology
- Develop effective, efficient and sustainable business solutions, providing the necessary documentation and specifications for software development teams
- Conduct user acceptance tests and training; create user documentations
To perform in this position, you either gained a degree in General Business Development and Management or a technical degree with an additional MBA. Further studies in IT / business analysis and documentation are essential. You have at least three years hands-on experience in business modelling, process development and automation with a good overall knowledge of IT development and maintenance themes, issues, architectures, technologies, models and processes. Practical knowledge in the deployment and maintenance of Enterprise Architectural Framework, SOA architectural principles and of the MS-SharePoint platform is an asset.
As a reliable professional you deliver the expected results in a hands-on manner and have the ability to work both independently and in teams. We expect an independent, result-oriented working style as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of verbal and written English is a must.
