Senior Business Analyst

We're looking for a talented person to coordinate, produce and submit quarterly financial statements for our Non-Life Intra Group Retrocession (IGR). This is an interesting and challenging role in our global Finance Operations unit.

The opportunity
You'll manage our Non-Life IGR processes, monitoring them and coordinating delivery timelines with counterparties
and other internal units. Working in a motivated and experienced team in a dynamic environment, you'll gain insight
into various aspects of PC reinsurance. During the quarterly closing process you'll cooperate with other Finance
Units, Finance IT, Underwriting, Claims and Actuarial departments to ensure comprehensive IGR variance analysis for Management and Legal entity reporting. Furthermore, you will support IGR financial statements reporting with expert reports and financial commentaries. We also need you to set up and maintain the Non-Life IGR processing platform and play a supporting role in other areas, completing ad hoc tasks as required.

About you
You should have several years' experience of insurance or reinsurance accounting, and ideally knowledge of Swiss Re applications such as SICS/nt, LFD, BIS and FSA. We're looking for a team player: someone who's open minded, with good communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be flexible, precise and have good MS office skills. In addition, you should be able to write and speak English well. German proficiency would be an advantage.
