The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for eliciting, documenting, and maintaining software requirements. Facilitates working sessions, articulates requirements, makes recommendations for process and business flows, develops consensus on requirements, documents requirements via the approved process and templates, and manages requirements throughout the software development life cycle.
The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Customers, Solutions Consulting group, Account Managers, Sales and other Product teams and Business Analysts to identify business needs and translate these into documented requirements for either custom integrations or into configurations for existing standard integration points. The Business Analyst will work with software developers and QA engineers, both in-house and remote, to guarantee implementation consistent with requirements. Guarantee overall quality of Release Features by reviewing Test Plans Performance Test Plans and ensuring high quality documentation throughout the process.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience writing systems requirements for applications and B2B integrations, experience writing use cases that capture functional requirements and specifications for large, complex or multiple concurrent multi-threading applications and integration projects.
• At least 3 full life-cycle releases of an enterprise software application and/or large scale B2B integration as a primary requirements analyst.
• Experience on at least one project as the requirements mentor e.g., leading the requirements analysis and management activities across all phases of a software development life cycle.
• Must be experienced in leading the requirements management and analysis activities along all phases of a unified process software development life cycle.
• Experience with requirements analysis, requirements change management and JAD/ meeting facilitation skills.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of XML, EDI, mappings, transformations, ETL etc.
• Knowledge of Web Service(SOAP, REST), FTP, MQ based integrations
• Occasional travel to customer sites should be expected (

• Experience working on one or more applications developed on a .NET / JAVA n-tier environment.
• Experience developing data models, data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams and network diagrams for large, complex or multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience working with structured design methods and RUP
• Knowledge of development methods and practices in a multi-platform environment.
• Proficiency with the following tools: MS Office, Visio, Enterprise Architect (EA), MS project, XMLSPY, Stylus Studio, Requisite Pro.
• Experience working with Team Foundation Server (TFS) would be desirable
• Excellent and concise analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to negotiate, persuade and compromise.
• Should be a self-driven individual with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt proactively to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment is essential.
• Prior consulting experience with Big 4 or Large IT systems contractor would be highly desirable.
• B.S. Computer Sciences or related technical discipline.
