Senior Cash Credit / cds sales
Leading global online fixed income provider is looking to add a senior cash credit / cds sales person to their Credit team. My client is at the forefront of electronic sales and technology, has international reach and a very strong presence globally within the credit markets. My client are in a stable and expanding position within the market place. The office is located in the City of London.
The chosen candidate will be a key decision-maker in driving the cash credit / cds business forwards with institutional clients located in the UK and Europe. This is a strategic position requiring excellent cash credit and cds product knowledge and expertise. The role requires somebody who is comfortable in dealing with institutions (explaining trade ideas, driving the electronic business forwards etc).

The role:
• You will work closely with the Head of Sales / Credit Product Manager in order to:
- Develop the cash credit and cds sales strategy for Europe
- Build and develop excellent relationships both internally and with the European institutional clients
- Identify and onboard new accounts, on-board and manage relationships
- Become the key person for Credit and cds enquiries both internally and externally
- Support and contribute to the creation, preparation and delivery of reports/ presentations/ product demonstrations etc for Credit and cds
- Keep up to date with market data and competitiors
Requirements:
• 7 years industry experience at a bank as a credit / cds sales person or on a relevant desk at an online fixed income provider
• Excellent credit and cds product and market knowledge
• A thorough understanding of electronic sales, trading, markets and competitors
• Ability to drive, support, and contribute to the sales and strategy for the Credit and cds markets in Europe
• Confidence in dealing with institutions located in the UK and Europe
• Must have market knowledge, interest, and experience in the Credit and cds industry
• E-commerce / electronics experience is of preference
