Senior Change Manager

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Change Manager to provide support for the high performance delivery of change projects between £1-2m for Retail and Commercial customers.
The role will be primarily accountable for the management and end to end delivery of multiple digital (Web / Mobile) projects or complex IT components of projects in the Business Portfolio, to agreed timescales and standards. Ultimately, the role will be responsible for everything, from building relationships with stakeholders and agreeing project milestones to controlling budgets and managing risks.

Delivery of Change (85%):
- Plan Change: Assess and classify impacts of the change on stakeholders and stakeholder groups. Develop and update the Change Plan with consideration of the stakeholder analysis and change impact assessment to enable a successful delivery. Develop the change acceptance strategy to ensure the intended change implements successfully.
- Manage Change: Manage activities in a change project. Use the change measurement tool to assess and measure change progress of stakeholders, track and monitor the progress of the change as well as stakeholders’ positions on the commitment curve, and identify and execute correction actions. Support project deployment activities and conduct post-deployment review to ensure that users and other stakeholders are supported in achieving the project’s objectives and are adopting the change. Review the to-be business process design to understand organization/role impacts and create role descriptions for business process roles, as necessary
- Build Executive Leadership and Commitment: Define and prepare project communication materials for customers.
- Project Management Support: Provide project management support for all aspects of a change project, including project planning, estimating, budgeting, resource allocation, financial management and time management for project up to an SI value of £1-2m or a portfolio of small change initiatives up to £1-2m.
- The successful candidate will be a highly successful Project or Programme with extensive experience of delivering challenging web-based programmes. You should be someone who is able to work closely with senior business stakeholders to take ideas and convert them into meaningful solutions. You will be passionate about working with internal customers, delivering valuable services that make a difference to the company and managing cross-functional teams.
- You will have run projects delivering digital platforms and have good knowledge and understanding of web architecture, infrastructure and deployment including implementation, integration, testing and optimisation.
- You'll also have solid experience in vendor management, ensuring that partners have clear delivery obligations, and providing strong leadership on coordination, communication and project momentum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for business technology stakeholders - Developing strong relationships with stakeholders in other parts of the business, Proactive communication to the business around prioritisation, scheduling and delivery of work, Owning standardised communication around each release of work , Providing information to all stakeholders around exceptions and their resolution
- Scheduling of work - Work with Digital Design teams to prioritise new items, Liaise with team members to understand effort, resource and dependencies and establish a plan for delivery, Communication of plan for delivery to all stakeholders, Input to team capacity planning
- Delivery of work - Work closely with BA's, Developers (including 3rd parties), Testers and Technology Business stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of work, Ensure all team members know their work priorities, Ensure that the agreed plan is followed and delivered to, Resolve any issues to ensure delivery to plan, Manage risks to minimise disruption to delivery, Follow the agreed process for delivery of Digital IT work to ensure consistency across releases, Manage any changes

Person Specification:
- Effectively provide change management and project management expertise change projects to which the Change Manager is assigned.
- Influencing / networking – developing internal and external business relationships and using own knowledge, skills and experience to influence others opinions and actions.
- Professional communications – making oneself understood, sharing information, listening to and encouraging others to get involved.
- Analysis, creativity and innovation – able to conceive original and practical solutions to complex and business critical problems.
- Understand at a high level the interface between complex business needs and the complex legal and regulatory environment in which the business operates.
- Ability to juggle priorities, multi- task and flawlessly execute at speed.
- Awareness of the Financial Services Industry, particularly the business impact of the regulatory environment; and an understanding of the impact of the Change Manager’s actions with regard to compliance with FSI regulations.
- Understand and comply with the requirements of Strategic Change Execution Board Standard, Group Change Governance framework and Group mandated Business Change methods, standards and tools

Essential Skills:
- Expert in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and JIRA
- DDLA / Agile approach, Ideally you have Scrum certification
- Demonstrable experience with all areas of Project Management - Financial Management - Delivery Management - Client management – Technology Change, Reporting and Communication.
- Exposure managing various Technology Stakeholders – Testing, Solution Architects, Developers, etc.
- .net, VB, Java, SQL experience in developing and Project Managing E2E Website developments, e-mail enhancements, IVR/IVM projects and or SMS/Mobile Banking
- Familiar with Kanban, Projector, JIRA Agile and Confluence
