Due to growth within the Iron Ore projects office our client is looking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join the team at its Perth based office. This company is an Australian based engineering and project management business providing a diverse range of services to various industry areas. The organisation provides complete engineering services from the study phase through design, procurement, project and construction management to commissioning, with reliability engineering and maintenance services provided to existing operational sites.

Job Description

This role will play a key part in the delivery of civil infrastructural projects from project concepts straight through the design process and construction management phases. You will have direct influence in decision making processes, directly impacting on project outcomes. Duties will include engineering design of process plant civil earthworks and engineering support for construction queries associated with Dewatering, Village and Access Roads. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will have responsibility for leading experienced and motivated engineers and drafters to ensure high levels of performance within the team.

The Successful Applicant

• With tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, you will posses a minimum of 8 years civil engineering experience within an a engineering / consulting environment.
• It is essential that you hold a proven track record in delivering detailed design infrastructure projects within the mining resources / heavy industrial sector, with technical expertise in drainage, earthworks design.
• It is vital that you posses effective managerial skills to lead a team of engineers, and drafts-persons, coupled with developed interpersonal skills to interface with other cross discipline engineering and specialist teams.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft suite and demonstrated skills with use of specific software package relevant to engineering.
