Senior Client Manager – Indonesian coverage (VP level), Permanent, Singapore recruitment
You will be responsible for maintaining/developing the company’s relationship with assigned clients including marketing, underwriting, administration, claims handling and technical financial accounting in support of the achievement of the Market Underwriting Team and Business Unit Strategic and Financial Objectives. You will work closely with the Non-Life Client Markets and Products team.
Your role will include, but not limited to:
- To ensure that marketing objectives, strategies, and business plans, which return appropriate premium and profitability targets, are pro-actively developed, updated, implemented and communicated internally and externally
- Develop and maintain own personal contacts, and drive the ongoing development of relationships at senior management levels with clients
- Maintain relevant depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding of the operations, structure and issues regarding allocated clients, including the market environment.
In order to be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Recognized University degree
- More than 5 years experience in developing and underwriting single/corporate/commercial risks
- Proven track record in business and client relationship management
- Background in Non-Life (Property Casualty) underwriting would be desirable
- Knowledge of Asian markets and their trends. Knowledge of Indonesian market would be preferable
- Ability to communicate and professionally interact with people
- Solid people management experience
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in at least one Asian language. Ability to speak Bahasa Indonesia would be a plus
