Senior Client Relationship Manager (French or Italian markets)

Primary Responsibility will be to look after the day-to-day relationships with the long-only clients invested via Fund vehicles or segregated mandates in jurisdictions as determined by the Head of Client Relationship Management

Main duties and responsibilities
In addition to the duties listed below, the successful candidate is expected to undertake such additional or alternative duties as are reasonably consistent with their role and capabilities.

·Client Relationships - maintenance of existing and new client relationships through day-to-day liaison, participation at client meetings and conference calls.

·Maintaining complete records of all communication with clients and prospects, including hard copy correspondence, electronic messages, notes of telephone calls and minutes of meetings, using the CRM system.

·Working closely with Investment teams, Sales team, Fund Distribution Management, Client Reporting and other infrastructure teams (Compliance, legal and middle office functions) to ensure client queries are answered diligently and efficiently.

·Working closely with administrators on the funds, the Fund Distribution Management team and the Account Activity Management team to ensure efficient set-up and take-on of new clients. Familiarity with due diligence requirements and KYC procedures is important. Following take on, ensure all client requirements are understood and fulfilled.

·Ensure Due Diligence on new and existing distributors is completed.

·Ensure ongoing due diligence for any segregated clients.

·Liasing with prospective clients in their due diligence of the business and existing clients and consultants in order to build and strengthen relationships.

·Prepare for client meetings ensuring significant investors and clients have bespoke presentations and agenda's met.

·Ensure frequent proactive communication with clients to understand needs and concerns and be able to identify opportunities to cross-sell or where a client maybe at risk (working with sales in these situations).

·Ensure investment and product knowledge is up to date

·Ensure all activity in the AUM system associated with clients/investors in specified regions are correctly identified and allocated (both fund and segregated clients)

·Managing ongoing client activity on segregated accounts including but not limited to managing cashflows, monitoring guidelines including changes, in accordance with the requirements of the IMA.

·Working with compliance and legal teams, including but not limited to; raising issues/complaints, monitoring and notifying of breaches and ensuring correct action is undertaken, ensuring all marketing materials are approved and correct legal documentation in place. This includes ensuring all side letters are reviewed by the appropriate teams and logs are kept of requirements.

·Working with Fund Distribution Management and Sales to set up new distribution and rebate agreements and processing any changes to them.

·Working closely with Client Reporting team to ensure all clients' requirements and deadlines are met. Checking and adapting reports as they are produced and ensuring they are distributed in a timely manner.

·Work with Head of CRM on implementing client service initiatives.

·Undertake projects as required by Head of CRM working with internal and external parties

Experience and person skills required
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in:

·Experience of working in Asset Management in a similar type of role
·Fixed Income experience may be advantageous (preferably credit and an understanding of key fixed income drivers and economic fundamentals)
·Excellent communication skills at all levels and an ability to work within a close knit environment both at team and organisational level
·Ability to work on own initiative and effectively prioritise to meet tight deadlines. The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to be able to multi-task and to be able to handle the various queries from clients and colleagues.
·Solution orientated with good negotiation skills
·First rate written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and will be highly investment literate in order to effectively interact with investment teams and clients
·Ability to work well in a team and under pressure and to influence and persuade at a high level both internally and externally
·Must speak either French or Italian
