Summary: Our client- an emerging and exciting Biotech nesteld in the White Plains area-has a newly created opportunity at the Senior CRA level. This role would provide the chance to get your foot in the door with a well established (currently ranked as a “Top 5 Employer to Work For”) and pipeline-rich mid-size biotech, that along with a expansive pipeline has multiple marketed drugs. In this exciting and challenging role as a Senior Clinical Research Associate, you will be given a broad spectrum of responsibilities focused in clinical development and operations - across all stages of life-cycle development in a primarily in-house role (travel is very limited).
Position: Senior Clinical Research Associate
Location: White Plains, NY

Responsibilities:
- In a nutshell, you will manage clinical research projects, including: protocol writing/development/execution, CRO management, clinical trial/data management, etc.
- Serves as primary contact for functional area representatives in managing all aspects of protocol execution.
- Assist with and/or may play a lead role in the development of clinical study standards and procedures to plan and conduct clinical research studies.
- Develops procedures and tools for data collection as needed.
- Applies knowledge of company policies and standard practices to resolve problems
- Analyzes issues and uses judgment to make decisions.
- Compiles and maintains regular status reports of Study progress and study specific timelines and ensures information is provided to Clinical Study Program Manager.
- Assist with and/or may play a lead role in the development of study documents including protocols, informed consent forms, and procedure manuals.
- Maintains open communication channels with study sites and members of the study team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or life sciences area. High degree is desirable.
- 2-7 years of CRA experience gained in biotechnology/pharmaceutical or CRO industry required.
- Clinical field monitoring experience is a plus. Even though they use CROs to handle day-to-day field moniroting, they value CRAs who have had such experience themselves.
- Ability to develop and manage clinical program budget.
- Oncology/Cardiovascular/Immunology experience is desired.
- Broad knowledge and cross-functional understanding of clinical trial methodology.
