Salary from £31,000 - £47,000 + salary banding supplement
Hays Healthcare is working with a leading acute NHS Trust in the Eastern region of the UK which is looking to recruit a number of Senior Clinical Fellows and SpR's in Accident Emergency/Emergency Medicine to join their team in the ED.
The Emergency Medicine Department of the hospital is busy, seeing approximately 66,000 patients per annum. The Department is a designated Trauma Unit and operates a Trauma team 24/7. You will be expected to lead the Trauma team with other middle grade/senior staff.
There is an active teaching programme for Senior House Officers and visiting Medical Students. The Consultants are involved in training Paramedics. The Department has its own Seminar Room with up to date education and audio visual aids.
You will need to have a minimum of 3 years clinical AE experience within the Accident Emergency Department of a hospital. You must have (or be eligible for) full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and be eligible to work in the UK. You must also have a good command of English in order to communicate fluently with patients and colleagues alike.
There is a salary banding supplement with this post of up to 50% of the basic salary.
