Senior Coffee Trader
Responsibilities:
• Trading physical coffee (Arabica) mainly from Central America origins.
• Responsible for structuring deals and their profitability.
• Follow up of commodities market trends and analyses potential profitable transactions.
• Develop, take care maintain suppliers-clients relationships.
• Identify-develop new customers and new business opportunities.
• Willing to travel internationally.
Experience-Skills required for the role:
• 10+ years experience in the Coffee Trading Industry as a Trader.
• Well-established connections within the Coffee Industry are essential.
• A very good understanding of the coffee trades, as well as basic financial instruments (Hedging).
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Ideally, the candidate will have a portfolio in North America and-or Asia and Europe and a strong network for the sourcing activities in Central America (Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras) and Asia (Vietnam).
• Fluent in French, English and Spanish.
