Our client is an established oil and gas company with significant regional presence and an impressive record of sustained growth and performance. Due to continued business expansion into Asia Pacific, there is now an exciting career opportunity within its regional headquarters in Singapore.
This is a challenging role where you will provide economic evaluation, business analysis and commercial support for negotiations and decision making on business development activities in Asia Pacific. You will support the evaluation of business opportunities through research and the analysis of economic and commercial factors, identify and screen potential business partners as well as support negotiations of sale, purchase and joint venture agreements. You will also be involved in business planning, strategy formulation as well as competitor and portfolio analysis. This is an excellent role for broad commercial exposure as you will work closely with regional business, technical, legal and regulatory functions as well as external partners.
You are degree qualified with 6 to 10 years' relevant experience gained in multinationals or banks/financial institutions. You are highly numerate, analytical and possess good understanding of business modeling, economics and discounted cashflow theories. You are hands on, proactive, self-motivated and a team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential. Oil and gas experience will be advantageous.
