Senior Commercial Finance Analyst
My client is a leading global law firm where the senior management team have a highly commercial and strategic approach to managing their business. A new opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to take on a key position as Pricing Manager.
The core focus of this position will be to support and influence partners with strategic decisions relating to the pricing of services and client matters. This will require you to undertake financial modelling and scenario analysis to ensure that partners and the business development team are able to approach negotiations and new business opportunities with confidence. It will be your responsibility to not only develop these models but also to ensure that they key and relevant stakeholders across the firm understand them.
In recent years the pricing strategy of law firms has changed and therefore there is a real appetite to appoint someone who can develop innovative ideas to ensure the firms continues to win profitable work.
To be considered you will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and have current or very recent experience in a highly analytical and commercial finance role within a law firm or closely related professional services business. I will be looking for clear examples of where you have recently been involved with pricing or can show a strong understanding of the fee models in a professional services business. With the high level of exposure and interaction with senior stakeholders, you will also need to be someone who is confident to challenge decisions and put forward new ideas.
