As a Senior Compensation Manager for Dex One based in Cary, NC or Lone Tree, CO, you will be hands on in driving your team to provide superior customer service combined with analysis in maintaining the performance based compensation programs.  Key for this role will be your proven success to coach your team to evaluate jobs and ensure market competitive pay by conducting market analyses, and designing and managing compensation programs.  Your executive compensation experience will also be critical as you will have responsibility for the management and implementation of executive compensation programs including short-term and long-term incentive programs, equity administration, SEC proxy and disclosure materials.  Your strong understanding of HRIS systems and compensation technology tools and software, as well as a mastery of Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel - where you will be expected to have expert data management skills and experience with Macros) will allow you to impart those skills to your team while leading to your own success in this dynamic environment.  You will also use your highly polished technical and project management skills as you work to implement new technology related to compensation administration and the annual merit and incentive awards payment cycle.  You’ll use your superior communication skills to guide your team to partner with human resources staff and business leaders to address general compensation plan and tool inquiries, develop and facilitate internal training and research and supporting pay issue resolution when necessary.  Strong relationship building skills and the ability to effectively influence others are critical as you will also partner with the HR generalists and client groups to develop support for, communicate and launch compensation programs.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical skills to lead the team's efforts to develop and analyze data models for purposes of compensation plan design and evaluation.  For the self-starting, hands-on manager, this is the perfect opportunity to join a team that will benefit from your experience and professionalism.
