Senior Compensation/Total Rewards Analyst recruitment

Role description:

As an Associate on the Compensation Team within BlackRock's Global Human Resources department, the position will work with a team of HR professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The role will support other Total Reward partners through data audits, analytics, and reporting necessary to support all aspects of BlackRock's total rewards programs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and reconciliation of all Compensation related data
• Pro-actively identify and resolve data issues
• Provide ongoing support by executing data analysis, streamlining reporting deliverables and ensuring data accuracy
• Assist with the timely and accurate delivery of firm-wide Compensation expense forecasts
• Obtain working knowledge of, and help improve upon, all processes and data flows
• Provide first level data reporting assistance to Compensation Consultants and Relationship Managers
• Work closely with other members of the Total Rewards Team to help design and deliver analytics and modeling tools that meet client needs, increase efficiencies and support broader Total Rewards objectives
• Assist in the development and delivery of firm-wide and business level reporting and analytics necessary to support the annual compensation review process
• Assist with the development, testing and maintenance of BlackRock's online year-end compensation review system
• Consolidate and submit employee level data for external market benchmarking processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience; asset management experience and/or experience in a global environment desirable
• Must have relevant experience working in a highly quantitative and analytical compensation or finance role.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• Position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented data reporting expert with strong technical skills necessary to support a variety of analysis, processes and initiatives
• Must have extensive and advanced experience with MS Excel, including the ability to independently manage, reconcile and analyze large datasets and the ability to write complex and advanced formulas
• Experience with MS Access and Oracle preferred
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and follow open issues through to resolution
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Ability to create simple, yet dynamic, tools and models to interpret and analyze data.
• Analytical skills with a proactive, creative approach to problem solving.
• Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a pressure filled environment.
