Senior Compliance Analyst recruitment
An established and respected Lloyd’s Managing Agent is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Analyst to support the business and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This is a new position reporting into the Senior Compliance Manager, within a small team where you will support them in the day to day running of the Compliance function by performing a range of ‘business as usual’ functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and implementing regulatory requirements that apply to the business and managing any regulatory issues that arise from new business initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance, support and tailored feedback on regulatory issues.
- Give high quality Compliance MI to senior management
- Keep Compliance policies up to date, accurate and in-line with regulatory requirements
- Stay up to date with FSA and its successor’s regulations that apply to the business.
- Provide Compliance Training in relation to TCF, AML and complaints handling.
- Review regulatory materials that affect the business from the FSA Lloyd’s and HMT and provide commentary when required.
What you will need:
- Strong understanding of the FSA Handbook, specifically TCF, ICOBS and SYSC.
- Experience of working in the Lloyd’s Insurance market with a solid understanding of Lloyd’s regulation.
- Exposure and knowledge of General Insurance products – motor.
- Excellent Communication skills
- The ability to maintain and build lasting relationships.
