Senior Compliance Analyst recruitment

Senior Compliance Analyst will report to Managing Director of Compliance and will be cross trained and able to assist in all of the various day to day functions of the Compliance Department.  The Senior Compliance Analyst will be primarily responsible for implementing and monitoring the parameters of the various Lender programs as they relate to securities lending activities.  These parameters consist of client requested parameters as well as regulatory parameters.  They will also be the primary liaison within the company for Compliance related securities lending blocks. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Work with systems to develop compliance monitoring reports in support of client specific parameters and restrictions.

• Daily monitoring of lending parameters such as margin requirements, loan duration limits, utilization limits, and credit limits.

• Follow-up on and assist in the resolution of out-of compliance situations to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.

• Monthly review of US Treasury OFAC Sanctions.

• Monthly review of borrower minimum balance requirements.

• Maintenance and distribution of Monthly Compliance Exception Report

• Maintenance of Compliance Library including Approved Borrowers, Approved Markets, Approved Asset Types, and Approved Buffers. 

• Responsible for updating the Pre Trade Compliance system for program implementations as well as ongoing maintenance and updates to the system as needed. 

• Semi-Annual compliance review of lender programs with Client Relations. 

• Assist in business improvements and automation projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting

• 2 to 4 years in Compliance related function

• Experience in developing Compliance Programs for clients

• Must possess some Financial Services knowledge, Securities Lending preferred

• Strong organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

• Be capable of managing multiple priorities and be detail-oriented

• Take a proactive approach to their personal development and be open to feedback

• Possess good problem solving skills

• Candidates should be proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel, Word and Outlook).
