Senior Compliance Manager, Regional Team
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a global financial services institution as the Senior Compliance Manager to oversee its thriving operations in the retail and commercial banking businesses. This role offers the opportunity to deputize the Head of Compliance in the management of a group of compliance professional and interactions with various senior management
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be fully responsible for:
- Supporting and providing advice and guidance to regional business on global initiatives
- Overseeing the implementation of the Group’s compliance policies in the region and providing advice to the country officers
- Participating in regional strategic projects that would require the approval from the HKMA and liaison with relevant stakeholders
- Supporting the CCO to ensure all reporting and ad-hoc information request from the Group Management are completed within timelines
The Successful Applicant
You will be a University Graduate holding a degree in law and/or economics with at least 10 years’ experience gained within a financial services compliance function. You will possess sound knowledge of Hong Kong and regional compliance and regulatory laws and have strong communication, analytical and leadership skills. Hands on experience with retail and commercial business will be an advantage. Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken is essential.
