Senior Compliance Officer
A leading investment bank based inCanary Wharf is seeking to appoint a Senior Compliance Officer to join a well established Equities Advisory team.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing advice and compliance support to the Equity Derivatives and Equity Funds Structured Markets business including Equity Derivatives, Convertible Bonds, Fund Linked Derivatives and structured products.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day compliance support to the Equity Derivatives, Sales, Trading and Structuring businesses
- Assist in the development and the roll-out of bespoke Compliance training programmes
- Assist in the review of new products including strategic corporate derivatives, structured equity derivatives and Index products
- Project management of various business projects with compliance implications, with specific focus on regulatory developments
Skills and experience
- Proven background in Sales and Trading Advisory compliance
- Compliance and regulatory knowledge relating to a wide range of banking products including equity derivatives, Convertible Bonds, Fund Linked Derivatives, structured products (multi asset class)
- Articulate with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
