The Company
Due to strong performance and expansion through the Asia Pacific region, a leading global asset management firm is currently sourcing an experienced compliance officer to join their HK team. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking for a step up in their career in compliance.
The Role
- Conducting regular compliance monitoring checking;
- Reviewing marketing materials;
- Assisting in implementing and managing a robust compliance framework, including ongoing compliance monitoring and testing program;
- Preparing materials and conducting training on compliance requirements to staff and management;
- Continuously reviewing policies and procedures and the coordination of the company's AML program;
- Handling licensing related matters and other regulatory filing;
- Assisting in liaising with regulators and responding to regulatory enquiries;
- Ensuring all new compliance obligations and risk standards are being met; and
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects as required
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Law, Accounting, Finance or related discipline, with professional qualification is highly preferable. You must have minimum 3 years' post compliance working experience in legal and/or compliance specifically within the funds management industry. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
