Due to team growth, we are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Senior Consultant to join our team in Sydney. Our Modelling team are the traditional bedrock of our capability and aim to provide rigor to support Management decisions.
Working within a high performing team you will be responsible for adding value to your client portfolio through the delivery of services such as data modelling, analysis and reporting with a key focus on statistical evaluation. You will work to understand and analyse your client's key commercial and financial drivers and then design, build and review business models and tools to assist them in understanding the impact of various financial, commercial or operation assumptions on their current and/or future performance. Your strong communication skills will see you form strong working relationships with both new and existing clients as well as your broader team.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Qualifications in either Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Finance or Commerce
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Strong experiencing using statistical evaluation techniques including regression (through hypothesis testing, not step wise)
- The desire and ability to quickly pick up new tools and techniques: from programming through to visualisation
- The ability to analyse customer needs and design and build the analytics solution
- Experience in the data lifecycle and dash boarding techniques
- Strong time management skills
- Knowledge of SAS programming tools will be advantageous
