Senior Consultant – Organisational Development & Learning EMEA recruitment
The Human Resources Division supports Macquarie's businesses by seeking to attract, recruit, reward and retain the best people. The division provides a range of global consulting and operational expertise across the organisation that is aligned with business strategy.
Job Purpose: Ownership of regional delivery of ODL (Talent Management, Culture Organisation, Learning Development) to meet evolving business needs
Key Contacts/Working Relationships: Business stakeholders across the EMEA region, Regional HR Business Partners, Country HR, and wider HR team, Global and Regional Organisational Development and Learning teams. Management of 3rd party vendors, external professional networks.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Build strong relationships with regional HRBPs and business managers/leaders to promote ODL solutions, culture and talent development
- Consult with regional business leaders and HRBPs to deliver a comprehensive ODL service to the region, including project management of key initiatives
- Leverage Global COE for tools and templates and adapts to local requirements and needs, as appropriate
- Provides input to Regional HR and Global ODL strategy.
- Provide development advice coaching to employees and leaders
- Serve as a leadership role model and subject matter expert to HR, provide guidance and coaching to enhance expertise, knowledge, and skills; including management of ODL team
- Source external providers manage local vendors/network of consultants across a range of training delivery, coaching and professional advice
- Contribute to global ODL initiatives, as appropriate
- Conduct external research, including evidence-based practice, and competitor benchmarking; advises on regional risk and requirements
- Key contributor to Diversity and inclusion of activities across the region
- Oversight and ensure efficient use of Learning Management System and ODL systems/infrastructure
- Maintain ODL calendar
- Provide high quality metrics reporting to stakeholders
Relationship Management
- Build relationships across the business to understand and fulfil learning requirements across Macquarie EMEA, as part of the overall learning agenda.
- Collaborate with colleagues within OD Global Learning to deliver an integrated suite of learning methods and products
- Participate in external learning forums to build and leverage knowledge of competitor and market trends

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED FOR ROLE
Technical / Job Related
- Experience of managing learning content, processes and systems
- Experience of working as part of a Human Resources team in an international environment with a clear understanding of other HR functions
- Broad knowledge of learning curricula, ideally within financial services sector but not essential
- Functional expertise in learning methodologies and tools
- Consulting expertise and ability to foster excellent client relationships
- Expertise in the identification and ongoing management of vendors
- Training delivery experience
- Credible in managing senior stakeholder relationships
Business Knowledge
- Commercial and pragmatic approach
- Clear and concise written, and oral communication and presentation skills
