Senior Consultants/Auditors Job in Alexandria, Virginia Us

 

You will be part of a team conducting financial statement audits or advisory services to Federal Government Agencies.  You will supervise and train staff, research accounting issues, compile and analyze data, prepare financial statements/accounting reports, perform internal control reviews/testing and document business processes, and plan, direct, and complete engagements.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

 

Experience Preferred:

·         2+ years experience in providing Financial Audits or Advisory Services to the Federal Government

·         Experience with Federal financial statement auditing in accordance with GAGAS and OMB Bulletin 07-04

·         Experience with internal controls compliance and OMB Circular A-123, including  documenting and testing financial processes

·         Experience with Federal financial statement preparation, analysis, and budgeting

·         Knowledge of AICPA, GAO, OMB, FASAB, and Treasury standards and guidance

 

Education Requirements:

·         Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college/university required

·         Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or eligible to sit for the CPA exam, Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) preferred

 

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must be eligible to receive a Federal Security Clearance (candidates with an active TS/SCI Federal Security Clearance are preferred).
