Posted Position Title: Senior Contract Performance Manager Career Level: Experienced Function Services Function Segment: Project Management Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Colorado City: Greenwood Village Postal Code: 80111-2473 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: The Senior Contract Performance Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Essential Responsibilities - Plan / coordinate activities on site of a larger project to fulfill a customer order according to financial / commercial parameters and ensure customer satisfaction - Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including customer interface, negotiations, preparation, and contract interpretation - Provide contract management support in the execution of equipment only orders for domestic and international contracts - Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts - Frequently interface with the customer on contract matters - May perform team leader responsibilities for assigned programs - Provide interface liaison with functional organizations and ensure proper communication of requirements - Continually review processes to ensure overall efficiency - Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships - Responsible for quality of delivery, schedule, and budget - Develop Enhanced Project Management programs and processes that reduce total cycle time and span - Implement common process across the business, which result in dramatically improved quality and efficiency in project delivery Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university / college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years power generation experience or industry related experience - At least 1 additional year turbine technology experience - At least 1 additional year demonstrated management experience - At least 5 additional years industry experience Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Characteristics - Knowledge of contract law and formation - Ability to take lead role in routine contracts - Six Sigma training is preferred (GE Employees only) - Additional experience in contract administration or project management is preferred - Sound business and financial acumen - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills PLEASE NOTE: Denver, CO is the preferred location, however other U.S. locations may be considered.
