Provide analytical support on company obsolescence initiative.
Provide support for cost assessment implementation.
Develop control procedures for the cost accounting department.
Compute standard costs and maintain the Oracle cost file.
Compute annual rates and track labor and overhead efficiencies.
Analyze variance and issues reports to management.
Compare the actual costs versus standards costs and explain the differences.
Review all royalty agreements for licenses and comply with all reporting requirements.
Analyze the cost of sales section of the PL to insure charges are properly classified.
Assist with the yearly cost and Price updates.
Assist the inventory accountant with the monitoring of the Lake Forest Inventories.
Cross train with other members in the department to assist with absences.
Provide financial analysis for all manufacturing groups within the company.
Analyze product cost at all product life stages (development, production, obsolescence).
Assist management with special projects as assigned.
