Senior Credit Analyst/Credit Manager with fluency in Japanese
The successful candidate will have a demonstrative Credit analysis background in order to be able to produce in-depth credit research reports both in English and Japanese. Therefore proven and strong ability to interpret cash flow, balance sheets, PL, and process lending are pre-requisite to this role.
Other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, identifying major risks and monitoring developments of specific sectors/customers, and reporting any risks to senior management. You will plan all tasks relating to credit; these include inspections, arrangement of training, credit policy, and official meeting materials. You will be comfortable in carrying out regular and ad hoc credit reviews and industry/corporate analysis. You will also assess internal ratings and assist other relevant divisions to achieve/process projects and deals successfully.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for credit monitoring, rating reviews, portfolio management, and liaising with the relevant internal contacts.
To be successful, you will have previous demonstrable credit analysis and corporate/industrial research background within the banking industry or a similar environment, and possess outstanding numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Due to the nature of the business, fluency in both English and Japanese is a prerequisite to this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already worked as a Credit Analyst who wishes to apply their existing credit analysis skills further into industry/Corporate research analysis arena.
