Senior Credit Manager – Top Tier Bank

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Assesses thoroughly  the credit risk in all proposals  for a designated portfolio to facilitate  a sound loan portfolio loan quality/ minimize loan loses and maximise return on investment.  All assessments are forwarded to the TL  for final comments/discussions etc.

- Provide guidance to Business Units in the structuring of proposals.

- Discusses all complex /other business proposals with the Business Units to ensure that credit worthy accounts  are not rejected for want of and/or inaccurate information.

- Recommends and /or  sends back applications for re-work  if they fail to meet ADCB’s required standards.

- Identify detereriorating credits at an early stage and take ameloriative action in conjunction with TL and the Business Unit to avoid any impairmen and, in extreme cases , minimize any loss to the bank. 

- Essentially, the role will entail a combination of credit risk evaluation, portfolio management, credit process efficiency, as well as providing effective leadership and assisting with special projects.

 

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years within risk assessment gained from a leading tier 1 bank. GCC experience will be strongly preferred. Arabic speaking is preferred but not essential. There will be a competitive tax free package on offer.
