Senior Credit Officer, Capital Markets, Banking & Securities

Reporting to the Global Head of Wholesale Counterparty Credit Risk, you will work closely with the Securities business in Asia Pacific to implement a credit risk management strategy across the Bank's traded products. Your overriding responsibility is to support counterparty trading relationships not covered by other Wholesale Banking Divisions. These will include Asset Managers, Broker Dealers, Pension Managers and Hedge Funds (NBFIs). Key duties will be to prepare and submit credit requests and take a lead in writing new credit policies for this space. Frequent contact with support functions - Legal, Compliance, Documentation and overseas business heads is expected as is the need to develop key stakeholder relationships with Wholesale Banking senior management both regionally and globally.

The successful candidate should possess at least 10-12 years' capital markets experience within a top-tier Investment Bank and be familiar with counterparty credit risk management policies and procedures. It is a prerequisite that counterparties covered include non-bank financial institutions. A good working knowledge of ISDA/CSA documentation is also desirable. Key to succeeding in this role is the ability to build relationships and improve information flow with business heads across the Securities and Wholesale Banking divisions. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, with a Chinese language preferred.
