Full Job Description
This Top Commodities firm is seeking a senior Credit analyst to analyse and underwriting counterparty credit risks within the global steel market and related industries. The firm are looking for an experienced autonomous analyst who can work independently as well as part of team to sit in either their London or Zug office.
The Role
• Analysing and underwriting counterparty credit risks within the global steel market and related industries.
• Evaluating and underwriting credit limit requests
• Co-manage underwriting team based in Switzerland, UK, and Germany.
• Customer financial analysis
• Worldwide travel for the in depth analysis of counterparts
• Ensuring compliance with the group?s credit insurance policies
• Assisting with implementation and review of the group?s Credit Risk Management procedures
• Working with Traders on a day to basis to provide support on credit and insurance related issues
Ideal Candidate
• Excellent quantitative qualitative credit analysis skills
• At least 5 years experience within Credit Insurance-Commodities Credit Risk-Analysis
• Fluency in English - both written oral (fluency in other languages, notably German, would be an advantage)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Supervisory - Management experience
• Sociable and flexible team player
