Temp to Perm – Test Manager for Investment Banking (VP) recruitment
Responsibilities
- Responsible for verifying overall project software quality
- Produce Test Strategy
- Produce Test plan
- Approve functional and non functional test scope
- Create and maintain test schedule
- Identify, mitigate and escalate testing risks
- Hold test readiness review meetings to examine entry and exit criteria
- Chair meetings to review test progress against plan and open incidents / defects
- Overall management of defects
- Produce regular Test Status Reports
- Develop Test Completion Report / Final Test Completion Report
- Ensure approval of test artifacts
- Gain an adequate level of understanding of business requirements and business process
- Test Environment
• Manage and publish test environment scheduling (particularly for service pack upgrades)
• Manage change to each test environment
• Coordinate with appropriate IT to configure and make ready test environments
• Organize regular and ad-hoc backups / refresh of data in line with test requirements
- SIT
• Coordinate interfacing systems and teams for integration test activities
• Confirm interfacing environments are scheduled as required
• Mentor IT in test process, tools and execution procedure
- UAT
• Coordinate business and operations groups for test design and execution
• Mentor users in test process, tools and execution procedure
