Senior Credit Risk Manager recruitment
This role is a great opportunity for senior corporate credit analyst to join a market leading multi-national institution at a senior level.
Role duties:
Provide overall leadership for a sector vertical within the Large Credit team.
Underwrite transactions within delegated discretionary power
Lead the sector vertical ensuring that the portfolio is effectively managed and credit losses minimised
Develop a high quality, professional sector credit team capable of providing a high standard of credit
Exercise a personal credit discretion of up to £10m
To provide direction and overview credit risk assessments on new / existing facilities,
To proactively monitor the sector vertical portfolio
Supervise direct supports and their activities effectively.
Ensure team has effective structure and resources.
Ensure effective communication with leadership, management and employees.
Candidate requirements:
The successful candidate will have previously managed a team on a day to day basis. ,
Has an expert level understanding of Credit Risk gained through 7-8 experience in Commercial or Corporate Underwriting ideally focused on the Travel or Retail sectors.
Has a comprehensive understanding of financial analysis and customer level credit risk evaluation and assessment.
Has a good understanding of credit risk methodologies, including analysis tools and techniques.
Knowledge and experience in other risk disciplines (operational, fraud, regulatory) would be beneficial.
