This organisation are an international market leader within the electronic payments financial services sector who are increasingly expanding due to their on-going global success in producing innovative payment systems introducing cutting edge technologies. They are an integral component of a global payments network and liaise with over four thousand financial institutions worldwide.
They are currently seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join them on a permanent basis in Reading, where they can offer fantastic career progression opportunities as well as training and monetary benefits.
Within this role you will be managing a team of 5 Data Analysts within the Data Hub team. Your time will be divided by managing mentoring your team (40%) and also liaising with Senior Stakeholders and Technical Managers (60%) ensuring to help develop migration strategies, define interface requirements to assist in defining/developing the data analyst function.
You will need be confident operating at a senior level have the ability to face off to the business. It mandatory that you hold excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
*Skills: Ad Initio, Data Profiling Tools Techniques, Micro Strategy, DB2, Agile, Data Modelling, Data Warehousing SME
*Experience of exposing data quality issues in source system data
*Experience in analysing end to end information sources to fully understand multi-source, multi-target ETL (Ab Initio ) solutions for data warehouses.
*Proven expertise in writing mapping specifications
*Fully understand modelling techniques
*Have extensive experience in Master Data Management and concepts around maintenance.
*Good customer facing skills with an ability to interpret fluid requirements
*Experience with multiple large scale data warehouse projects, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
*Experience of managing small teams
*Candidates will have experience of working within major corporate or government IT environments where good governance and quality frameworks are in place
