Security Firewall SME required for my insurance client based in Bromley to act as the subject matter expert for security related technologies.
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Analysing the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
- Develop technical security standards and ensure all changes are in line with the network security architecture
- Ensure all changes to the production environment and firewall rule changes have been reviewed and approved to open limited ports required for services to function.
- Ensure security technical platforms are configured to optimise the overall security offerings
- Communicate and build relationships at various levels with an ability to discuss deep technical concepts with vendors, but also communicate at a higher level with project managers and programme leads to communicate the processes and timings of programme and project delivery.
- Evaluate and recommend security products as needed
Candidates will require:
- Expert knowledge in network security and firewalls
- Accreditations within networks and firewall security
- Experience within large enterprise environments
- Demonstrable experience in designing and reviewing network security, and acting at SME
