Senior Data Analyst recruitment
Robert Half Technology is working with a leading investment manager to identify a talented Senior Financial Data Analyst. The organisations stable experienced portfolio management team have identified the need to build out a dedicated Product Control IT function. This hire will work closely with an existing staff member a Data Analyst in Asia.
As a Financial Data Analyst this hire will report to the Head of Data Management be an integral link in the overall success of the firm's innovative financial systems. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy timeliness of data imports including validating investigating issues with data received from external suppliers processed internally. The successful applicant will be required to understand the full data chain, data models, report models to ensure accurate, timely data. The requirements of the role will mean the Data Analyst will be collaborating across the business - with the IT, Risk, Portfolio Management teams, be primarily supporting the data needs of the front office. The role can be summarised as managing data, pricing, analytic quality for a very successful business.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Data Analyst include ensuring data quality timeliness to agreed service levels; assisting in management of data import data export feeds; supporting the Risk / Front Office with data queries; building robust data validation/cleaning processes. The group would like to find a professional with a good degree or equivalent qualification, this requirement would suit a self-starter with good interpersonal / communication skills. Applicants with specific experience of Front and/or Back Office work, strong technical skills including strong ability with SQL programming languages (Scripting, VBA) / reporting tools would be well suited.
