Global organisation with a reputation for developing innovative products within the financial services industry, my client is committed to providing analytical, data and Business Intelligence solutions to its internal external customer base.
My client is launching a new Business Intelligence and Reporting platform that will enhance the value of data and BI solutions within the group.
As a result we are currently seeking 2 Senior Analyst (Data Analysts or Business Intelligence Analysts) with expertise in Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data modelling and any tools such as SPSS, SAS, VBA, SQL – SSRS, Excel, reporting, dashboards, Cognos, Business Objects or Hyperion Brio.
As part of the Analytics team, your role will involve data analysis, data modelling reporting, Business Intelligence, etc working with data held in Oracle SQL server data warehouses. You will be required to analyse / model Data, create Reporting Dashboard solutions, etc required to assist the business to thrive develop into the future.
You must have a minimum of:
- 4+ years experience in data analysis, data modelling or Business Intelligence
- Data Analysis Reporting skills, especially within a Financial Services environment
- VBA, SPSS, SQL or Advanced Excel skills
- Any exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Datastage, Business Objects, Hyperion or Cognos would be highly advantageous
- Database knowledge – Access, SQL, SQL server, Oracle
- Data Mining experience also highly desirable
- Strong communication skills also required as will be dealing directly with Business Managers
