Senior Data Governance Officer recruitment
Our client, a leading bank, is looking for a Data Governance Manager to join its growing business. The Data Governance Manager will manage a team for identification, research and remediation of data quality issues throughout application data of critical financial systems and work closely with key business and IT enterprise Architect Office team to report and remediate data quality issues impacting the business.
The responsibilities although not limited to:
- Supervise and mentor two data quality officers
- Implement day to day data quality compliance monitoring of identification, in depth research and remediation efforts
- Drafting Data quality procedures and compliance reports
- Contribute to implement data quality strategies in line with business strategy and objectives
To be considered for this position you must be degree educated and be able to demonstrate working experience in data quality, database application development, process design or customer service. A strong functional knowledge of critical financial applications and business processes. Expertise with data management techniques or methodologies is essential. Qualifications in Project Management is desirable.
