Senior DC Investment Consultant recruitment
About the role
The primary responsibility of this role will be client advisory work. The senior consultant will work as part of dedicated client teams, on occasion leading such teams, in providing a variety of services to designated clients. This will involve close liaison with the client, fund managers and other areas of the firm.
The senior consultant will have a key role in the day to day management of the client relationship and will be supported by other consultants and investment analysts as appropriate.
What we are looking for
- An understanding of the institutional investment industry, its drivers and future direction from a global perspective gained from a minimum of five to seven years’ relevant experience
- Familiarity with DC pensions and governance of these arrangements
- Knowledge of investment management organisations (investment process, organisational structure and people, marketing, business management and strategy)
- In depth knowledge of a range of asset categories
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Team player looking to work in a dynamic, client facing and growth oriented work environment
- Strong influencing and project management skills
- A problem-solver and lateral thinker with a creative and analytical approach able to complete projects to the highest standards, on time and to budget
- Self starter, systematic and organised.
Education Qualifications
- A good first degree is required
- Post graduate qualifications and relevant professional qualifications such as CFA or FIA are highly desirable
