This role will support design optimization of lightweight aircraft structure considering cost, assembly, functionality, and performance.
Will create and review engineering packages to support the engineering release process, and create drawings in Catia within Enovia.
Will work in a team-oriented environment, and effectively communicate technical issues to other team members as well as leadership.
Lead/participates in lean events/workshops.
May act as small team leader in support of component or sub-component design.
May travel internationally as required by business needs.

Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline and 5+ years related experience.
Required:
- Must have Design experience of lightweight aircraft structure using CATIA v5. Pro-E may be acceptable with some Catia v5 experience.
- Strong knowledge of nacelle structures.
- Experience in aerospace component design.
- Experience in design for assembly, design standards and material specifications.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must be team oriented and able to effectively communicate technical issues to team and management.
Preferred:
- Experience designing composite structures and knowledge of nacelle structures.
- Fibersim, Enovia, Teamcenter and Model Based Definition experience highly preferred.
