Senior Digital Marketing Executive Job in London, London UK

Lloyd’s List, the leading provider of maritime news and analysis, is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our Marketing Team as e-commerce marketing specialist. As part of the Informa Group, this exciting opportunity will provide you with a range of opportunities to develop your skills within global marketing team. You will be primarily responsible for marketing campaigns and activities across e-commerce platforms, as well as the execution and tracking of PPC and SEO campaigns across Lloyd’s List.

 

As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for delivering digital marketing customer acquisition activity and managing e-commerce platforms, in order to:

 

·           Deliver compelling messages that influence purchasing and renewal decisions and win/retain business

·           Ensure that campaigns are delivered to highly targeted audiences

·           Deliver continual efficiencies in list selection, campaign execution, tracking and analysis

·           Meet strategic goals and deliver revenue and profit targets

·           Drive innovation and efficiency with new ways to reach customer segments

 

You will plan and implement digital communications campaigns, including paid search, social media and email. In addition to this, you will be responsible for supporting e-commerce sales, managing the product listings and promotions, and driving traffic to the site. You will also provide regular reports against agreed digital marketing and ecommerce KPIs. You will also supervise a Marketing Assistant, overseeing their ongoing professional development and their day-to-day work. 

 

The successful applicant must have experience in a digital marketing or ecommerce role, ideally in a B2B environment or publishing company. You must also demonstrate your experience of:

 

·         Creating and sending emails using broadcast tools

·         Using and managing Google Adwords campaigns

·         Online banner creative briefing, implementation and reporting

·         Setting up and using web analytics, preferably Google Analytics or Omniture, and producing regular KPI reporting dashboards

·         Implementing the fundamentals of SEO and reporting

·         Managing e-commerce site products, prices and other contents

 

You must also demonstrate that you:

 

·         Are results-driven – to ensure that marketing activities fulfil strategic goals and drive the required business results

·         Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Are highly organized, methodical and process-driven

·         Are a creative thinker with the tenacity and drive to seek new and improved messages, designs and routes to market

·         Have a strong customer focus – and able to identify and distinguish customer requirements
