Senior Director – Project Finance(credit)
My client is seeking a senior credit analyst with experience in the transportation sector, with a concentration in the toll roads and transit sectors.
The position has high visibility in the U.S. municipal market and the PPP space in the North and South Americas.
Role:-
- Leading ratings analysis and research on transportation entities, with an emphasis on toll roads / transit sector ratings within the Americas transportation group.
- Evaluating innovative credit structures and participating in criteria development
- Maintain high profile relationships with issuers, investors and intermediaries, with frequent interaction with investors and intermediaries, based upon industry and topical research written by the job holder.
- Identifying relevant trends, assessing their credit impact and highlighting these trends in updated industry and market focused reports/presentation
- Participate in internal discussions on sector-wide credit issues, in the development of analytical methodologies, and in the preparation of special reports.
- Ability to read and fully comprehend complex structures.
Requirements:-
- A number years of relevant experience as well as leadership capabilities
- Will have a senior position and be involved a lot of important managerial positions so extensive managerial experience is important
- Proven project finance and transportation credit skills gained in a bank, a rating agency or on the buy side.
- Strong knowledge of the project finance debt markets and an understanding of the key issues affecting these markets would be highly advantageous.
- High-quality writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Thorough familiarity with spreadsheet-based financial models.
The position may be located in New York, Chicago or San Francisco.
