Senior Directors/Managing Directors – M&A Industrials/Services/FIG/MedTech recruitment
This investment bank has built a global franchise on multi-sector mid-market advice - much of it cross border.
They want to add 2/3 proven Senior Directors/Managing Directors to augment the senior UK team and to provide counterparts to their US, European and Asian originators looking to do UK business.
Sectors of interest are Business Services, FIG and Med Tech. Sectors peripheral to these are also possibilities - anything Industrial (Building Products, Diversified Industries) for example.
Basic salaries reflect investment banking norms but bonuses are allocated according to a unique formula which guarantees that someone who can generate revenue will be rewarded for it in a way that other organisations can't match*.
Your remit is global and the structure allows for the deployment of, for example, your European partners to a greater or lesser extent according to your needs. So you could originate and close a 100% owned deal in France from UK - or - do a JV with the French team if it were felt the best course of action.
The bank offers meaningful equity for the right person and has the traditional investment banking pyramid in place to support your efforts. 2011 has been another strong year for this franchise - a good reflection on their strategy, aggressive growth, people and management.
*There is provision for a 'ramp up' period and MDs who don't close transactions do of course partake in the bonus pool - It is a weighted system.
