Senior Economist / Investment Strategist recruitment
Role Responsibilities
• To communicate principally to Retail Banking and Wealth Management the view from Global Asset Management on market moving events and their implications for wealth portfolios
• To liaise with Investment professionals on the impacts of market moving events and translate these into client communications
• To ascertain the impact that market event will have on wealth management portfolios
• To produce regular concise communications including weekly and monthly articles, brochures and alerts
• To understand the impact on events from a global macro perspective
• To participant in various committees eg wealth, fixed income monthly committee meetings
Background Experience
• Degree educated (or equivalent) – ideally Economics
• Able to communicate/understand investment professionals and tease out implications on product/strategy
• Have previously worked in a economist, strategist or research capacity from within a sell-side or buy-side firm
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal and able to produce first class written material under extreme deadlines
• Broad multi asset product knowledge
