Senior Engineer - Tibco IT Administrator
As a TIBCO IT Administrator (a replacement role) located in our Global Center for Customer Technical Support in Oklahoma City, OK, reporting to the Senior IT Director. You will be responsible for:
- Installation, technical administration, tuning, and monitoring of the environments.
- Primary responsibility is for the administration of the TIBCO software, AMX and RV.
- Working with the project team on Environment Migration and supporting all development activities.
- All Systems Administrators will cross train on all the closely associated in-house developed applications.
- Heavy interfacing with other IT Infrastructure teams such as server and database support and requires direct partnership with internal and external resources.
*This position can be located in any US Seagate site. Oklahoma City, OK, Scotts Valley, CA, Longmont, CO, Bloomington, MN, or Shakopee, MN. However, Oklahoma City, OK is preferred.
Education/Work Experience Required:
BS degree required with a minimum of 4 years experience in administering systems software products installed on Solaris, AIX and/or Redhat Linux platforms.
Skills Required:
- Good communication skill set is a must to work as a team player on projects that interface with customers and various administrators world wide on high profile Seagate Business Exchange related projects.
- Thorough knowledge in Unix and Oracle administrator skill sets would be a plus.
- Foundation knowledge in Tibco products such as BW (Business Works), BC (Business Connect), messaging EMS and RV is a plus.
- Monitoring tools experience for Tibco product Hawk is a plus.
