We are currently seeking talented Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst for our San Antonio, TX facility.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Implement an enterprise-wide Model Validation program, functioning within an Enterprise Risk Analytics team in the Chief Risk Office. Produce Validation Reports for models used across a wide range of financial service businesses including insurance and investment services.
JOB DUTIES
- Implement the enterprise Model Validation program as part of an internal validation team
- Execute according to the fast-paced schedule of validation activity of the internal team
- Communicate validation results to model owners
- Analyze provided documentation for adherence to the Enterprise Standards for Model Documentation
- Prepare materials for meetings of an Enterprise Model Risk Management Committee, Contribute to the Validation Report components of the Enterprise Model Inventory.
- Effectively articulate methods, results, and insights
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years work experience in a quantitative discipline relevant to financial risk management.
- OR, Master's degree and 3+ years work experience in a quantitative discipline relevant to financial risk management.
- OR, Doctorate degree and 1+ years work experience in a quantitative discipline relevant to financial risk management.
Preferred
- Experience in a model validation role at a major financial institution.
- Masters or PhD degree in Economics with an econometric emphasis or in Statistics.
- Experience with developing statistical models at an insurance, bank, or investment company.
