Senior Equity Dealer recruitment
A blue-chip Wealth Manager seeks a Senior Equity Dealer to join their Dealing Desk in Glagow.
This role reports directly to the Head of Dealing, and will be responsible for a team of 6 Equity Dealers.
Key Accountabilities
- Managing and executing orders received from the company's business areas, with a focus on Equities
- Making sure that all client deals are executed in the market and are in accordance with existing policies and procedures
- Managing client relationships to maximise trading outcomes
- Acting as the responsible for a team of 6 Equity Dealers
- Supporting the Head of Dealing with trading activities
- Meeting risk management controls, government controls and compliance requirements
Experience Required
- Candidate MUST have around 10 years of Dealing experience, ideally within the Equity space
- In-depth knowledge of securities trading and underlying markets, trading locations and protocols
- Strong working knowledge of trading platforms, including algorithmic trading
- Detailed knowledge of MIFID and FSA rules regulations
- Candidate should have experience managing a team
- Excellent communication skills and technical execution skills
- Team-player with a positive attitude
