My client is therefore seeking an experienced Research professional who has been directly exposed to clients, generated votes and contributed to external voting through exceptional research pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in depth industry analysis, mainly focusing on the Greater China markets
- To develop and communicate lucrative investment ideas to clients
- Manage and enhance client relationships, with the view to becoming the predominant equity strategist for Greater China
- Generate client votes through close relationships with key players in the industry. This is a key target for the team, so a proven track record is essential for this role
- Work closely with the Head of Investment Strategy to create profitable ways to capitalise on market movement
Candidate Requirements
- University educated with an emphasis towards numerical/analytical subject that has covered Global Finance/Economics. Candidates with Post-Graduate Research experience will have an advantage
- 7-10 years in an Equity Research position. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Strategy or Macro-driven research
- Extensive experience Researching the Greater China market
- Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English
- The ability to converse with high value Clients
- Exceptional computational and modelling skills, with a specific focus on Advanced level Excel
- Proven track record of generating client votes
