IT Programme Manager (VP) – Investment Bank recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Work with business partners to determine ,define and refine the roadmaps according to business demand and the agreed strategy
• Manage programmes and projects which deliver on the business demands and strategy
• Ensure that solution meets all audit/control/regulatory requirements in addition to functional and non-functional requirements
• Provide transparency on project status and financials
• Manage the overall resource requirements across their project portfolio and are responsible for the efficient use of resources
• All aspects of project work, including analysis, requirements gathering, design, testing and deployment
• To deliver project plans, recognizing needs around testing, integration and delivery of software
• Creation of quality functional specifications and working closely with the developers in the creation of technical specs
• Mapping of as-is and to-be processes, use cases and full test and migrations strategies
• Working with the users on UAT planning and liaison with the user base during the UAT
• Work through the BRD, FRD and Project Planning phase and having hands-on responsibility and accountability across all phases of the project lifecycle
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
• 10+ years of experience in managing IT projects in the finance industry, preferably in the investment bank or wealth management domain
• 5+ years of experience as a programme manager, managing challenging stakeholders
• Solid experience in project lifecycle including business analysis, functional specification, risk management implementation
• Strong communication skills
• Good technical background, able to provide input at technical level
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Fluent Japanese and good understand of the Japanese market regulatory environments
