Senior Finance Controller (Banking) recruitment
Supervise a team of 4 qualified accountants
- Legal entity accounting for approximately 75 entities (SPE’s)
- Review/Prepare the financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP
- Review/Prepare financial information for management
- Supervise/Perform financial reporting and controlling tasks that are part of Central processes including regulatory reporting.
Coordinate with Finance in UK in the preparation and review of Statutory Accounts for SPE’s under UK GAAP and IFRS
- Review of management accounting information prepared for approximately 75 legal entities (e.g. Management accounts, reviewing intercompany mismatches)
- Dealing with the trading desk to resolve issues on structured transactions
- Coordinate with the Finance team in UK around the provision of financial control support for the Finance business
- Production and review of some of the key financial reports and controls for the Finance team
Person Requirement
- At least 4 years post qualification experience
- 2 to 3 years experience of the financial services sector or Banking audit in large accounting firm
- Investment banking experience preferable but not essential
- Chartered Accountant from a ‘Big Four’ firm preferred
- Experience of people management
